Our monthly member meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of the month in the Gwen Logan room on the second floor of the Council Chambers Building. This is the room next to our regular computer training room.

All meetings start at 9.30 am until 11.30 am, and include a morning tea break, an update on club activities and course plans, and a presentation, either by one of our members or a visiting speaker. After morning tea we have a Q & A session.

Some of the topics presented so far have been:

  • Using the resources of the Parramatta Local History Centre (for family research online or for local history)
  • Freeware and open source software applications
  • Internet etiquette
  • Easy Computing Pty Ltd on their "Take the Teacher Home" computer training CDs and DVDs for beginners

  • Useful websites, including the Seniors Portal.
